From 2018 to 2025, Dr. Chichester served as Head of Department for Internal Medicine at the Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital. In that role, she helped lead one of the Territory’s most important medical services, overseeing inpatient care, outpatient clinics, dialysis coordination, departmental administration, and collaboration across clinical teams.
Her work placed her at the center of complex decision-making, long-term condition management, and the delivery of structured internal medicine care during some of the most demanding years in recent memory.
Dr. Chichester’s training and experience span cardiology, endocrinology, pulmonary and critical care, infectious diseases, neurology, rheumatology, and gastroenterology. That breadth brings depth to the way she evaluates symptoms, manages chronic illness, and helps patients make sense of complex or overlapping medical concerns.
Dr. Chichester has also contributed to clinical teaching, staff development, continuing medical education, and the training of junior physicians and medical students.
